With the PC503 processor installed, Acqiris' crates can operate as stand-alone units or networked to other PCs using the unit's Ethernet capability. The processor is ideal for use with Acqiris' Multichannel Acquisition Software AcqirisMAQS as either a client or server in a networked data acquisition system. In multicrate systems, the embedded processor provides parallel processing and data reduction to speed up data transfer to your PC. The processor includes preinstalled Windows 2000/XP or Linux operating systems as well as a full set of Acqiris driver libraries, manuals, AcqirisLive and the AcqirisMAQS demo application. Factory configuration prior to shipment saves valuable setup time. You can start using the stand-alone system straight out of the box.
